mathematics

of course, life would be like math. i hate it, i need it and i usually just don’t fucking get it. once in a while, someone will teach me something valuable about it and i will remember it forever. i can’t solve the equation if i don’t understand the problem. if i try to hard to make it look right, it just looks like i’m cheating if i don’t try enough, the teacher thinks I’m slacking off i try to cram all my lessons in at the last moment and wind up failing instead of just giving it a proper shot the first time around but when I am careful and look at it for a while? it is beautiful and not as complex as I make it. of course, life would be like math.
